We are committed to accurate billing, but if something doesn’t look right, we want to help you investigate. Follow these steps for the fastest resolution.
1. Gather Your Information
Please gather these details before contacting us, to enable us to review your account more efficiently:
- Specific Dates: Note the exact service period and the specific utility (water, electric, etc.) you are questioning. For example: 3/1/26-5/1/26.
- Usage Evidence: If you are disputing a leak that has been fixed, gather the date the leak was noticed, the date it was reported to maintenance, and the date it was repaired. Not all leaks or maintenance issues may be eligible for adjustments. Please check with your property management to clarify.
- Lease Details: If the dispute is about your move-in date or occupancy, ensure you have your lease agreement handy to verify the terms you signed.
- Leasing Office Referral: If you were referred to dispute a charge with us by someone in your leasing office, please have their name so we can follow up with them as well.
2. Review the Help Center
Many common concerns, like understanding Ratio Utility Billing (RUBS) or how True-Ups work, are explained in detail here in our Help Center. These resources can often provide an immediate answer without the need for a follow-up call.
